Now I am trying to decide how best I can market the website going forward.
I might create a new domain name and start from scratch.
The "dotcorral" domain name was picked to be generic and it meant "dot" for Internet and "Corral" for corralling around a web page. I picked a generic name so I could add other functionality later if I wanted. So the idea was if one feature like social networking did not work I could change it to online dating.
For a new domain name I might choose a name specific just for "free online dating" because if people see that name they will know what the website is about so it might be easier to market. As an example, if the website domain name is CoolFreeDating.com you know just by looking at the name what the website is about.
